What is your role and the institution that you work for?
Principal lecturer in Public Health
Are you currently using the Values Exchange to support teaching? If yes, please tell us a little about it.
This year most of my time is taken up with research and commissioned projects so I don't have much contact with students. However the VX is built into a number of new modules that will start to emerge of the next year or so. I also used it last year when I was visiting professor at the State University of New York, which was an interesting cross cultural experience for me.
Are you currently using the Values Exchange for e-democracy? If yes, please tell us a little about it.
I am in the early stages of planning a one day event for the faculty management team in which I will be making use of the VX to get people thinking and talking about how to develop the faculty in the near future.

Faculty event tech problems

I had forgotten I was part of this network and came across it again searching for something else. So here's what happened with my attempts to use VX for a Faculty management meeting. First problem. Instead of using the University facilities the FMT decided to go to a local hotel so they would not be disturbed. The hotel claimed to have wi fi internet access.
