- What is your role and the institution that you work for?
- Principal lecturer in Public Health
- Are you currently using the Values Exchange to support teaching? If yes, please tell us a little about it.
- This year most of my time is taken up with research and commissioned projects so I don't have much contact with students. However the VX is built into a number of new modules that will start to emerge of the next year or so. I also used it last year when I was visiting professor at the State University of New York, which was an interesting cross cultural experience for me.
- Are you currently using the Values Exchange for e-democracy? If yes, please tell us a little about it.
- I am in the early stages of planning a one day event for the faculty management team in which I will be making use of the VX to get people thinking and talking about how to develop the faculty in the near future.

Faculty event tech problems
I had forgotten I was part of this network and came across it again searching for something else. So here's what happened with my attempts to use VX for a Faculty management meeting. First problem. Instead of using the University facilities the FMT decided to go to a local hotel so they would not be disturbed. The hotel claimed to have wi fi internet access.
